The International Day of Parliamentarism is celebrated every year on 30th June, the day was established in 2018 through a united nation general assembly resolution. 
The international day of parliamentarism is a time to review the progress that parliament have made in achieving some key goals to be more representative of their constituencies.

The annual event is organized by The Nigerian Youth Parliament (NYP), a legislative and developmental training institution created to strengthen, reinforce and consolidate efforts in empowering young people trough meaningful youth representation in driving Nigeria developmental agenda.

For 2020, it is going to be an interactive online Zoom Live session with notable speakers in a dialogue enlightening the Nigeria Youth on Parliamentary Processes with The Theme: Building a better Nigeria start through The Legislature.
