LACVIS is set up to provide world class automotive testing centres and to ensure that vehicles plying Lagos state roads have met the minimum standard of safety for issuance of Road Worthiness Certificate. 

LACVIS services include but not limited to; Emission Test, Machine based Headlamps Test, Suspension and Alignment Test, Brakes Efficiency, Underneath Vehicle Checks and Visual Inspections.

LACVIS is currently operational at the following 20 locations: Agbowa, Agric-Isawo, Ajah, Alausa, Anthony, Ayobo, Badagry, Bolade, Coker-Aguda, Cele, Epe, Gbagada, Lagos Island, Odogunyan, Ojota, Ojodu, Oko-Oba, PWD, Suru-Alaba and Yaba.
