As Nigeria prepares for elections in the year 2023, our aim is to promote active citizenship and to equip Nigerians to make more informed decisions in order to participate in the democratic activities that shape the world around them. Civic education will ultimately invoke critical reflection and participation in democratic activities such as elections, volunteering and town hall meetings. It will also ensure accountability among government representatives.
Join us as we celebrate Nigeria at 60 with a panel session on Nation-building and the Transformative Power of Active Citizenship.
We will be featuring three breakout sessions where we ideate to address the following:

Question: How can we mobilise the youth to scale sustainability projects?
Equity and Inclusion
Question: Why are inclusion and equality important for nation-building?
Education and Employment
Question: How do we build a workforce that can participate in the global economy?
