Men overtime have been seen as epitome of strength and so when  a woman achieves a remarkable feat, she is hailed as a 'Woman like a man', 'Woman as fearless as a man', 'A woman with a man's heart'. 

 

I think women should be celebrated on the basis of theii strength, confidence and superpower without any accompanying simile or metaphor comparing them to the opposite gender.
