In a move to advance women’s agency when it comes to contraceptive choice and reproductive health, Incepta Pharmaceuticals has developed the first-ever WHO prequalified generic version of subcutaneous depot medroxyprogesterone acetate (DMPA-SC) under the brand, Medogen SubQ. 

To celebrate this milestone, Incepta Pharmaceuticals will be a convening a side meeting at the upcoming International Conference of Family Planning, titled Fostering Reproductive Autonomy and Choice: Introducing the First Generic DMPA-SC. 

This session will bring together industry leaders at the intersection of science, commercialization, policy, and investment to explore how Medogen SubQ is advancing reproductive health and choice for women and girls through increasing access to an affordable, convenient, and safe contraceptive option.
