About YALI Rivers State Hub and the Summit

The YALI Rivers State Hub is part of the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI), a flagship program of the U.S. Department of State designed to empower young African leaders to drive positive change in their communities. Our hub focuses on leadership development, community impact, and youth engagement in Rivers State.

The 2024 YALI Rivers State Hub Youth Summit, themed "Purpose, People, and Profit: Harnessing Youth Potential for Community Development," aims to inspire and equip young leaders to align their personal purpose, collaborative efforts, and entrepreneurial skills for societal transformation. This one-day summit will feature impactful sessions, renowned speakers, and networking opportunities.
