Ibibio Students Union (ISU)

The Ibibio Students Union (ISU) is an esteemed organization representing Ibibio students at the University of Cross River State (UNICROSS). It serves as a platform for the advocacy, empowerment, and growth of Ibibio students, while preserving and promoting the rich cultural heritage of the Ibibio people.

Key Objectives of ISU:

🌍 Cultural Preservation: Advocate for the recognition and celebration of Ibibio traditions, language, and customs.

🎓 Student Empowerment: Provide resources, mentorship, and support for academic excellence and leadership development.

🤝 Community Engagement: Foster a strong sense of unity and belonging among Ibibio students through regular activities, events, and social initiatives.

💬 Advocacy & Representation: Serve as the voice for Ibibio students, addressing their needs and concerns at the university level and beyond.

Under the leadership of Comrade Uforo-obong Johnson Edidaha, ISU strives to ensure that Ibibio students thrive academically, socially, and culturally, while contributing to the university’s overall progress and development.
