Open defecation remains a serious public health and environmental challenge in Lagos and across Nigeria, contributing to the spread of preventable diseases, contaminating water sources, and disproportionately affecting communities without access to safe sanitation infrastructure. This walk is a public awareness campaign designed to put this issue in front of everyday Lagosians, spark conversation, and mobilize support for safer sanitation practices across the state.

We're bringing together volunteers, community members, and stakeholders for a walk from Allen Junction to Ojota Car Park on 20th July, combining visibility, advocacy, and public engagement to push open defecation into the public conversation where it belongs.
