She Grows Green is a SEDA Initiative advancing women-led climate solutions across sustainable agriculture, clean energy, and green enterprises. Across Africa and beyond, climate change continues to affect livelihoods, communities, food systems, and economies. Women are among the groups most affected by climate change, yet they remain underrepresented in climate innovation, green entrepreneurship, and decision-making spaces.
At She Grows Green, we believe women should not only be included in climate conversations but also be equipped with the knowledge, skills, resources, and opportunities needed to lead sustainable solutions within their communities and beyond. Through climate education, entrepreneurship training, practical exposure, mentorship, and ecosystem support, She Grows Green is building a community of young women who are creating innovative solutions for a greener, more sustainable future.
She Grows Green is supported by the Youth Empowerment Fund, a partnership between the European Union and the Global Youth Mobilization (GYM), an initiative of the Big Six Youth Organizations: the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM), World YMCA, World YWCA, World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS), the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), and The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award.
