The Hub For Social Impact, a social organization is currently raising funds for the HealthRelief Project. A project that provides and pays the medical bills of critically sick persons who cannot afford to access quality healthcare. 

Since launching in February 2021, we have provided financial and psychological support to about 5 beneficiaries with cases such as pneumococcal meningitis (a life-threatening of the brain), pneumothorax & pleural effusion (severe infection of the lungs), kidney disease, leukemia and cleft palate.

Now we want to significantly scale the work we do, to cover more Nigerians in dire need of medical care. And that is why we solicit your support to be an Ambassador of the HealthRelief Project. 

We currently have about 4 pending beneficiaries in need of urgent medical care such as Abass, a 12 year old boy with a severe bone infection causing repeated multiple bone fractures (osteomyelitis). He needs multiple surgeries and physical rehabilitation to improve his quality of life, estimated treatment cost is around $2,000. Delayed treatment could cause permanent bone damage and amputation.  

OPE is a 13 year old girl, victim of a serious road accident leading to hip dislocation that wasn’t treated properly causing chronic pain and disability. She needs corrective hip surgery and rehabilitation as she is at risk of bone death and nerve damage that could lead to permanent paralysis. Estimated medical care bill is $1,000. 

Our other pending beneficiaries include a Stage 4 Breast Cancer survivor who is in remission. She requires aggressive chemotherapy and radiation to enable her fight this battle. An adult male with brain hematoma, the medical bills have been such a huge burden to the family and they could really use the support. Estimated medical care for both beneficiaries is about $4,000.
