The Entrepreneurship and Economic Summit is a first of its kind event geared toward proffering solutions to issues affecting our economy. The Entrepreneurship and Economic Summit 2020 is a two-day virtual event, scheduled to hold on the 25th and 26th of September, 2020 and is themed: Entrepreneurship – The Panacea to Sustainable Economic Development.  
The Summit will bring together important personalities in Nigeria's financial system, policy makers, business leaders, industry experts, delegates from other universities. A unique feature of this summit is its virtual nature, in that it would afford many Nigerians who ordinarily would not be able to attend a physical event, an opportunity to join in via the internet in the comfort of their homes or workplaces.  
This is coming now because we strongly believe that the youths, which constitute the majority of our projected attendees, have a large role to play in reshaping the economic landscape of this country and in repositioning the country for sustainable economic development. 

Our Motivation:
The World Health Organization defines Health as the state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. It is common knowledge that poor health is common in people of low economic status as well as in locations with poor economic development. It can therefore be said that in trying to address the issue of economic development we are invariably also addressing the standards of living of people and by extension improving the state of health of the people.

Focal Point of the Summit:
The world has seen a rise in the demand for creative solutions to provide goods and services to individuals. In response to this, the EES 2020 seeks to provide a platform where ideas meet actualization. The summit aims to: 
 Equip, empower and familiarize attendees with necessary career and entrepreneurial tools and skills as well as vast ideas, knowledge of happenings and trends in the country and the world at large. 
 Provide a forum for the exchange of ideas, knowledge, skills and experience among students, professionals, business leaders, policy makers and industry experts. 
 Encourage and empower the youths towards entrepreneurial leadership. 
 Expose students to enormous entrepreneurial opportunities in the various sectors of our economy 
 Instill in participants the relevance of entrepreneurship as a tool for economic development 
 Expose participants to the essentials of establishing businesses and teach them how to raise capital for their businesses
