World DJ Day (March 9) is celebrated to recognize the significant contributions DJs make to the music industry and to raise funds for charitable causes, specifically for children’s charities. Established in 2002 by the World DJ Fund Foundation and Nordoff Robbins Music Therapy, it honors the skill, passion, and cultural impact of DJs worldwide.
