The Feast Of Tabernacles is Ordained by God through Moses the prophet. “Ye shall keep it a feast unto the LORD.” – Lev. 23:33-36, 39-44; Deut. 16:13-17.
Celebrated by Jesus Christ, “the greater and more perfect Tabernacle” is now among men in spirit. (John 7:1-14, 37-38; Heb. 8:2; 9:11; Rev. 21:3)Commanded by God through prophecy for His True worshippers to celebrate yearly at the end of the world in which we are now. – Zech. 14:16-19.
A solemn festival – the first and last days being holy convocations. (Lev. 23:35,36; Num. 29:12,35; John 7:37,38)
More attention is given to the word of God than to eating and drinking. The Ministers of the Church interpret the law of God to the understanding of the people as the priests of old and Jesus Christ did. “In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the Scriptures hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.” (Deut 31:10-13; Neh. 8:18; John 7:14, 37-38).
